My father, Dr. Thomas B. Wright began his study of SOT ® in the early 1960s. He was a student of Dr. DeJarnette and others through-out his 57 year career. My sister and I were his “guinea pigs”. Whenever he returned from attending & teaching an SOT(R) seminar- we got adjusted. My sister’s dyslexia was corrected. And I recovered from mono, all because of Dad’s determination to find the source problem and correct it.
I chose to follow in his footsteps by attending his Alma Mater, Cleveland Chiropractic College in KC (now called Cleveland University Kansas City), graduating in 1982. I had the unique opportunity to practice with my father for 25 years until his passing in 2007. I am in my 39th year of practice and 30th year of teaching SOT ® plus all of its innovative techniques for our international organization, SORSI (Sacro Occipital Research Society International).
I am reminded every day that I was called to help people and that is our main focus. Dad always said we approach this work knowing at the end of the day we did our best to help everyone who walked through our door. And I am grateful!
